Valuable Lessons from Black Bean Burgers
Things I have learned during my quest to recreate the World's most delicious black bean burger. The inspiration came from Superiority Burger in NYC and the Farmhouse in Burlington, Vermont.
Valuable Lessons:
-Crushed tortilla chips and an egg help the burgers maintain their structure. You can also pulse the tortilla chips in a food processor.
-Radish and celery can provide a unique texture and brighter taste
-Experiment with fresh herbs. Before seasoning the burgers, separate the 'dough' into 2-4 parts and season each part individually.
-Try rosemary or mint or thyme or Thai basil
